Arraial do Cabo, also called Forno, is an offshore port located 180 km from Rio.
Many rigs are employed here. Amongst others the semi-submersible drilling rig "Pride South America".
This drilling rig was in need of a new boom.
The boom delivered by Huisman has a length of 40 meters and together with other equipment, like the pedestal, it occupied a major part of the vessel's deck.
As a specialist in shipment of project cargo to ports on the East Coast of South America, Trinitas was appointed to take care of this shipment and arrange for a smooth delivery.
Upon arriving on the 4th of July in Rotterdam to load the dismantled crane, same was loaded within only a few hours and vessel was able to depart before the evening. Crossing the Atlantic in 16 days to deliver the required crane to the rig.
