November 2008 – Railway equipment, Argentina / Portugal

Via the Trinitas brokers in Argentina pieces used Rail-Road equipment have been contracted for a direct shipment between Buenos Aires and Setubal. The heaviest unit weighed over 72 Metric tons and was loaded-stowed on deck by vessels own means. After completion of the load operation at the Dock-Sud terminal in Buenos Aires the vessel proceeded directly to Setubal were it arrived 16 days after her departure from the river Plate. At Setubal the discharge operation took a mere 4 hours thereafter the vessel headed for Rotterdam to discharge the balance of the cargo on board.
