June 2009, Eolic towers for Suape, Brasil

A Trinitas vessel, the Geja C, recently loaded 15 complete Eolic towers at the port of Vigo, Spain for Suape, Brasil. The towers are over 12 meters long and 3 meters in diameter and destined for a wind park on the Brazilian North coast. The state of Pernambuco has a particularly favorable environment for developing wind power were wind farms are developed with Brazil Development Bank (BNDES) financing. Trinitas own superintendent was instrumental and present overseeing the loading operations in Vigo.

Trinitas East Coast South America heavy lift service offers multiple project sailings per month from Europe, Baltic and Mediterranean ports to the Brasil East coast and Argentina. The company is utilizing heavy lift vessels with a maximum lift capacity of 500 metric tons. The service is managed by Trinitas office in The Netherlands.
