On her regular service the Mv Jade C picked up a heavy 180 Metric ton axle in the port of Buenos Aires on her Northbound voyage to Rotterdam. The unit was delivered at the Dock-Sud terminal on a multi-wheel trailer for a direct load operation. The component, destined for Mulheim I Germany, was discharged into barge at RHB Rotterdam for the subsequent transport to the inland destination. The ship, which made a dedicated call for this cargo, features a hatch opening of 65 meters, box shaped holds, and adjustable tween-decks was perfectly suited for the safe handling of fragile 15 meter long piece.
