Trinitas scheduled the 10.000 Deadweight new build Mv Industrial Edge for her maiden voyage. After the vessels well attended baptism ceremony in Hamburg she moved further south to load a variety of unique project cargoes for both Brasil and Argentina.
One of the special cargo you see portrayed here was loaded in Hamburg and destined for the new Thyssenkrup CSA Siderurgica Arlantica Steel plant in Itaguai, Rio de Janeiro State, Brasil. The three purple colored heaviest pieces, named “hot metal carriers”, with a unit weight if 153 metric tons and four yellow “slag pot carriers” of 94 metric tons weight each were loaded with the vessels dual 250 metric ton cranes that may be combined for 500 ton lifts.
