October 2009, More windmill equipment

Another Trinitas vessel, loads a large batch of windmill blades with Destination Europe in Santos, Brazil. This time including an under deck portion cone’s and power generating wind turbines. The turbines, 60 metric tons each, cones and blades are part of a shipment performed directly to Emden Germany.

Windmill blades are normally shipped on deck to allow for easier stowage, but in this case with a rotation demand “first in” and “last out” our engineers faced a stowage challenge. The rotation was ultimately possible because of the vessel’s box holds with adjustable tween-decks and dual 80-ton cranes.

Trinitas is a provider of ocean transport with a focus in the Atlantic. Besides sea transportation services for break-bulk, we are specialized in project and heavy lift cargoes. The company offers twice monthly service between Europe and Brazil.
